To start, the windows weren’t sealed that good, causing all the tepid air to escape as soon as it left the vent
After we sold the house we were living in, my spouse plus I had to transfer into a temporary housing unit until we moved into our next home. Both of us had plans on making our dream home on an attractive piece of property. But, it was going to take a few months. My husband and I weren’t expecting to sell our house so fast, which is why we had to transfer into a rental unit for sometime. After moving in, my spouse plus I realized that our master bedroom was beyond freezing. It was significantly less warm than the rest of the rental housing unit, however we couldn’t figure out why. Even if we set our temperature control to 67 degrees before bed, we still had to bundle up in extra clothing plus wear our thermal gear. There was heat coming out of the air vents, but it wasn’t staying in the master bedroom at all. Both of us asked our property owner if they could hire a Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional to come check out our heating plus air system. Thankfully, he said he could do that for us! The Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional came to our home plus did a full inspection on our Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system. Both of us asked him why our master bedroom wasn’t heating, plus he told us a few reasons. To start, the windows weren’t sealed that good, causing all the tepid air to escape as soon as it left the vent. Next, our bed was placed against the outer wall, which was basically cement. When the temperature dropped outside, the outer wall was cold. This was causing us to feel cold at night.
